EX/PX’s Role

EX/PX is hired by oil and gas companies to help them put together their emergency response plans. This includes writing of the plan, creating required maps and zones, doing resident visits and other public consultation, creating and maintaining databases, distributing copies, and more. We study and follow government guidelines very carefully to make sure everything necessary is covered and that the plan will get approved by the regulator.

Then, we can help the company introduce their ERP to their worksites and staff, such as with onsite pre-sour planning meetings. And we can help them do emergency response training and practice drills with their ERPs, in the boardroom or the field
